4) Factors to be considered before writing a poem

Hey guys, today we are going to learn about the various factors to be considered while writing a poem.
First of all, let me tell you that this topic is not applicable to those poems which you are writing by your own choise because you have seen something and you are feeling to write on it or any fictional idea came to your mind on which you are going to write.
This factors are impt when we are writing the poem for a particular purpose.
There are 3 types of purposes for which you may write a poem:
✍for publishing,
✍for reciting &
✍for a competition.

We'll learn about dem in details:
✍For publishing and reciting.
1) Audience or Readers๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ: This is one of the most impt factor which we have to consider before writing a poem. The main purpose of a poet before writing a poem is expressing his/her mind with the readers (in case of publishing) or audience (in case of reciting). So, if they can't understand what you have written or what you are reciting then what is the use of your poem?
Thus, you should keep in mind that your poem should be in such a way that your audience or readers can easily understand and enjoy๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜. Secondly you should consider their age, knoedge and capacity of understanding.

2) Occassion: There are some occassions in which you can recite your poems. For eg. a b'day party of your family member or friend,๐ŸŽ‚ you have to write about the b'day girl ๐Ÿ‘งor boy๐Ÿง’. In such kind of occassions the poem should be written in a simple language. Its like a toast.
Other kind of occassion can be a function in your school, college, or at any other place where you have to face a huge audience consisting of different kinds of people๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จ‍⚖.
In such events and functions you have to write your poem on a nice innovative topic and your language should be attractive to build your image as a poet.

✍For competitions:
When you are writing poems for a poetry writing competition you have to take some decisions very very carefully๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฒ. The factors which are to be considered are as below:
1) Selection of topic๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿค”: I have mentioned in my previous blogs that we can write a poem on any topic even a stupid topic๐Ÿ˜, but for a competition ๐Ÿ†you have to be very careful while selecting a topic. Mostly try to select a topic on social, environmental or current issues.๐Ÿ“ฐ๐Ÿ—ž๐Ÿ“ˆ⚖๐Ÿž Mostly the topics of prize winners ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ˜are based on such topics.
You should avoid 2 kinds of topics:
One is common topics like my mother, my village, etc.

2)Content and size of the poem๐Ÿ“:The content should be short but sweet, but it should contain huge details about the topic. Try to cover as many aspects you can cover of that topic. But you should always keep in mind the less words⬇️, more information⬆️. You can't use big sentences. The no. of stanzas should be upto 6 or 7. Your poem should not be boring.

3) Language: The language should be very attractive๐Ÿ˜ which should attract the eyes๐Ÿ‘€ and ears๐Ÿ‘‚ of the judges. It should impress them in such a way that they can't stop their hands from giving you marks๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ†. Use of figures of speeches is the must to make your poem more beautiful.

If you follow all this factors you will obviously win the competition. And you can also become very famous for your talent of writing poems in your family, frnds circle, school, college and people around you. You can win many hearts๐Ÿ’ž and live like a king/queen๐Ÿคด๐Ÿ‘ธ๐Ÿ˜€

I hope you all will like my blogs and hope many of you will start writing poems.๐Ÿ˜„

In my next blogs I would like to share my poems in different languages and some tips like this as and when I get a chance.๐Ÿ˜Š
