3) Aliteration: In Aliteration the sound of first letter of 2 or more consecutive words is repeated. It serves the same purpose as repetition in poetry writing, i.e. it gives a particular tune to the poem while reading it which gives pleasure to the reader and helps the poet to make the poem attractive. For eg. "Some say the world will end in fire."(reference: first flight) In the above line from a poem the sound of the two consecutive words some and say is repeated. 4) Resamblance: It means comparing one thing with other. You may have noticed that most of the poets don't like to express anything directly. They will compare it with something else. There are two ways in ehich the comparison can be done. i)Similie: In this figure of speech the poet will make use of two words, "as" and "like" to compare something with other.
